Beautiful series, Diane! It is getting pretty hot here in Montreal as well!
ReplyDeleteOne extreme to other here, one day hot then one day dismal, not easy to arrange for anything. Have a good week Linda, Diane
DeleteGirl friend I think you must sit out in that garden and wait for the bugs and bees to come around. Great shots as always. I actually grabbed the camera and headed out for a "ride around" today.....BACKROADS...I love riding and stopping here and there to take a pic.
ReplyDeleteHa ha, I went out for about 4 minutes each, twice yesterday as it was so hot. I have trained my self to see small creatures that so many people would miss. My original training was in S.Africa looking for wild animals in the bush. Have a great week Diane
DeleteNice collection of creatures - the 'bee fly' beast is a cracker.

I loved the Bombylius it buzzes all over the place and is very quick! Thanks Stewart, have a great week Diane
DeleteThe rose in the 1st pic is so beautiful. I have not seen a rose in this colour! Very interesting insects. I am especially interested in the insect in the 2nd to 4th pic.
ReplyDeleteIt is an exceptional rose with an amazing perfume. The Bombylius was back again today, not sure of course if it is the same one. They are interesting little creatures. Have a great week Diane
