14/07/2017 Happy Bastille Day for this little chap enjoying its lunch :-)

Maximum temperature 25C, minimum 12C.   19 km/h NW winds.  The rain gauge was slight wet this morning but that was all!
It almost missed its catch as I appeared on the spot....

Lunch was too important to miss so I was forgotten for a moment...

The bug put up a struggle...

and it seems I was yet another slight distraction...

Nope lunch comes first...

the struggle well over and almost devoured....

Yep that was very tasty so will now lick my chops.

      Thanks David, it was interesting to watch but I was sorry I was a distraction to the poor lizard. I think in fact it was the clicking camera that worried him and not so much me. I should have turned the click off but I might have missed the sequence if I had fiddled around. At least it got its meal. Cheers Diane

    Oh lady...what a beautiful catch, yours with the camera, not his with the bug! haha....great job. I did see the stuff about Fibro before, but thanks for thinking of me and sending it my way!
