Happy holidays
I would like to wish all my followers who celebrate Christmas the very
best over the holidays!
I am going into a sort of blog hibernation until well into the New Year. We are off to see friends in Nevis for two weeks, then we will have a quiet Christmas in the UK with my FIL. Meanwhile I will try post the odd photo when possible.
Take care everyone; see you all after the holidays.
For those following our South African holiday the last part of the travels can be found HERE
Gorgeous photos, Diane. Each is special in its own way.
ReplyDeleteThanks Marie for following and commenting. Hope you are back with me in the new year. Happy holidays meanwhile. Diane
DeleteWishing you all the best, until you return regularly, to blogging.

DeleteHave a good holiday vacation.
ReplyDeleteI love your pictures. They are gorgeous.
Thanks Ann, a trip to the sun will be good, I am sure not so certain about the UK in December!! Hope you have a good Christmas Diane
DeleteA fabulous collection of photos. Have a nice break and a Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThanks Diane and the same to you. Hope I can get through 3 weeks in the UK without picking up the usual bugs I get when there!! Take care and enjoy Christmas. T'other Diane
DeleteThank you, Diane, I wish the same for you and Nigel.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time away!
I sure hope you're feeling better now.
xoxo
I am on the mend but coughing badly, but this is something I am used to. I coughed for years before an Italian Dr treated me and stopped it. I just hope this is temporary!! Have a great Christmas, Diane
DeleteExquisite photos Diane. Really beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks Penny, hope that you have a good Christmas and all the best for 2018, wow where do the years go to? Take care Diane
DeleteYou really do have enough beautiful photos to make a calendar for the year. I've seen those done as gifts. Have you ever considered it? Happy holidays!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind comment. I did make calendars a couple of years back but dealing with situation in French is not so simple, and if I had them made elsewhere, then the postage back to me is ridiculous even if they will post back, many will not deliver outside their own country. We have a very small family and quite honestly the couple of calendars we give as gifts are easier bought locally. Have a good Christmas and hope to see you back in the new year. Diane
DeleteBeautiful critters! The caterpillar is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteThanks Nancy, also the emerging butterfly is beautiful as well. Happy holidays Diane
DeleteOh my gosh Diane, every one a gem, glad I don't have to pick a favourite.. although the kissing sparrows are pretty darn adorable 😀
ReplyDeleteHa ha thanks Grace the kissing sparrows are so cute I agree, but I think my favourite so far as photos go is the Californian poppy with the 2 hoverflies. Hope you have a good Christmas and enjoy your summer which I am so jealous of! Keep well Diane
DeleteThanks Diane, keep warm and cosy, I'm a little envious of your wintery Christmas ☺
DeleteAs always....beautiful pics. Beautiful. I hope you enjoy your time away from Blog Land. Take care.
ReplyDeleteI hope we enjoy the time away as well I am still feeling lousy, thought I was on the mend but!!!!! Keep well Diane
DeleteHi Diane. You have chosen some of my favourite photographs, especially the sunset. Have a lovely holiday season, will miss you. Kim xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Kim I will put on the odd photo when I can but at the moment I am full of cold and not getting much better. Just hope by tomorrow I am on the mend now on antibiotics!! Keep well Diane
DeleteGet better soon!!
DeleteGreat post Diane!
ReplyDeleteThat sunset is gorgeous!
Got finally reconnected, what a relief!
Now I am visiting all the virtual friends, LOL!
Enjoy your holiday, Xmas is not my cup of tea although it is a great opportunity to get back with the family.
Will take my holiday from mid January for 2 safaris in a row in Kenya!
Warm hugs, take care and I wish you the best of weather....
Bet you are happy to be connected again. It is strange before computers we never felt cut off from the world, but now with no connection we feel so isolated!! We always have a very quiet Xmas, only FIL to think about with no family on my side and Nigel's being in Ozz. I do not even have any Christmas shopping to do which I have to say makes me very happy :-) Warm hugs Diane
DeleteHappy Thanksgiving to you and yours.
ReplyDeleteWe don't celebrate thanksgiving here but hope that you enjoy yours. Take care Diane
