Sorry, I am far behind with everything. I seem to have caught a bug which I hope clears up very quickly as we are due for a very long drive on Friday, but more of that in another post. My head feels like it is full of cotton wool (more than usual)!!
A lone hoverfly out on the one and only dandelion around...
As above.
Hydrangea protected from frost against the wall.
Lawn daisy.
Viola.
Zimbabwean carved giraffe.
The three paintings you see now are hanging in our house. Sorry photos taken at an angle because of light reflections....
Think this is possibly my favourite but I love them all...
They are all by the South African artist Edmund Barton. To see more of his wild life paintings which are for sale see HERE.
Note: I have not been asked to advertise his name but his paintings are well worth looking at.
Oh so sorry, you seem to have a cold. -sigh-
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for it clearing up quickly. Meantime, please try to rest. Hahhhh... I know. Preparation for the long drive. But... Zap the prep, and rest. :-)
Thank you for some peeks inside your home.

DeleteLove the African memories Diane, we brought paintings, wooden carvings and copper bowls with us when we left Africa so many years ago, apart from a few they all seem to have found new homes. I hope you feel 100% better by the weekend, it's awful travelling when not feeling well.
ReplyDeleteGreat African memories are all over the house. I am feeling a little better today but Nigel is also not in top form, and tablets he is on are making him feel queasy! Such is life. Hope you have a great week Diane
