28/11/2017 A little of the wildlife I have seen in Nevis.

If anyone can help me with full identification I will be happy to hear from you.

Carpenter Bee.

Hermit Crab.

Green-throated carib, (Eulampis holosericeus), a species of humming bird.

Spider.

Gecko.


Lesser Antillean bullfinch, female (Loxigilla noctis)

As above.

    Lucky you, what a wonderful place to go on holiday it will shorten your European winter!
    This humming bird and the spider is gorgeous (close to Argiope lobata), I guess you will bring back many interesting photos of beautiful species.
    Can't help you with precise ID, you'll have to do it yourself, LOL!!!

    HAHAHA!!!! Now you really got me burst into such a laughter, all alone in my living room! LOL!!!! And still laughing!
    Poor Diane, you will then have real trouble "IDing" your species!!!!
    Well I honestly think many people would love to this kind of worry!

  9. Hello...I thought you were taking a break from blogging? Glad that did not last long. I so dislike carpenter bees, I must have a 100 tunnels in the bottom of my shed over the years. I figure one day I will step in there and the bottom will fall out. Great pics.

However, my favourites in this post are the Green-throated Carib, and the spider - wonderfully spectacular creatures. I hope the weather stays kind for you in this island paradise.
