ReplyDeleteHello Diane,
ReplyDeleteLucky you, what a wonderful place to go on holiday it will shorten your European winter!
This humming bird and the spider is gorgeous (close to Argiope lobata), I guess you will bring back many interesting photos of beautiful species.
Can't help you with precise ID, you'll have to do it yourself, LOL!!!
Enjoy your stay and I wish the best weather :)
"Found a site that said birds of Nevis and St Kitts and none of the birds I have seen are on it!!".....
ReplyDeleteHAHAHA!!!! Now you really got me burst into such a laughter, all alone in my living room! LOL!!!! And still laughing!
Poor Diane, you will then have real trouble "IDing" your species!!!!
Well I honestly think many people would love to this kind of worry!

Hello...I thought you were taking a break from blogging? Glad that did not last long. I so dislike carpenter bees, I must have a 100 tunnels in the bottom of my shed over the years. I figure one day I will step in there and the bottom will fall out. Great pics.
ReplyDeleteYou really do take the best macros Diane! I don't like spiders at all but the details are fascinating. The finches are adorable!
ReplyDeleteYou're already finding some absolute gems, Diane!. I do so enjoy enjoy your excellent photography. However, my favourites in this post are the Green-throated Carib, and the spider - wonderfully spectacular creatures. I hope the weather stays kind for you in this island paradise. With my best wishes - - - Richard
