Maximum temperature today 26C, minimum 11C. Dry; 17 km/h South Westerly winds with up to 33 km/h gusts.
Total rainfall so far this year now 437 mm.
So much going on and I have many photos that I have taken, but no time to process them.
I am sorry I am struggling with time, and the change in the weather means much to do in the garden as well as all the other things that have been going on. I will visit your blogs as soon as I can. Here are just 4 photos so you know I am still here.
Apple blossom.
Acer leaf with the sun behind it.
Apple blossom and bee, not many bees around, but there are a few!
'Black' tulip.
For those who have been asking me re my cough. It persists, but I saw the Dr again yesterday. I am now on tablets for a week and an inhaler 3x per day for a fortnight; fingers crossed!
Twenty-six degrees! Lucky you.
ReplyDeleteIt is wonderful and at last I am happy :-)) Sure it will not last though there will have to be another cold spell!! Cheers Diane
DeleteBeautiful photos Diane! All the best with gardening and other things. xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Penny, it has just been a particularly busy time, and the garden is in desparate need of digging over so I can plant. Most people around here have tractors and/or rotivators, we are manual with a fork so it is slow and hard work!! Have a good weekend Diane
DeleteI hope your latest treatments do the trick, Diane.
ReplyDeleteI hope so as well Marie, I have now had four months of coughing and it is getting us both down!! Have a great weekend Diane
DeleteYou sound a bit stressed. Don't worry about us we'll still be here when you have got rid of the cough and caught up with all your chores. Gardens do take a lot of time. One of the reasons we moved into a village. Love the black tulips.Take Care.
ReplyDeleteJust simply too much to do, especially with the garden, and a lot of other things going on as well. This is also the time of the year when the French have a lot of village luncheons and it always pays to show your face, but you can write a whole day off for that exercise. Meet at 12am and you are lucky if you get home by 6p.m.!!!!
DeleteHope that you have a good weekend, cheers t'other Diane.
The black tulip is amazing. I like seeing the apple blossoms. They are spring to me.
ReplyDeleteThe tulips are beautiful, the only thing, other than a rose bush, that I saved from the garden in the UK. Happy weekend Diane
DeleteI love your 'black' tulip! Be careful. Slow down a bit. xxx
ReplyDeleteNot easy to slow down when so much to do, the garden is lovely but hard work and time consuming, plus lots of other things going on!! Happy weekend Diane
DeleteI always enjoy each photo Diane, but those black tulips are stunning. Don't worry about visiting when life gets busy. I truly know how that goes. Enjoy the rest of your week and have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThanks Denise, I wish I could do a 'Bewitched' and wriggle my nose but no such luck! :-) Take care Diane
DeleteI had never seen a black tulip, Diane. Oh, it's a beautiful flower. Kisses, my friend.
ReplyDeleteMia it is very beautiful and I particularly love it. Happy weekend Diane
DeleteHi Diane. What a beautiful garden you have, I know how much work gardens are so don't stress about visiting and commenting people's posts. What news on the cough?
ReplyDeleteThe garden is hard work Kim, I wish I had my South African gardener!! There are many events at this time of the year to go to as well. Keeping up with the French!! Happy weekend. Diane
DeleteSorry Diane, I have just read the last sentence of your post which informs us about your cough. I missed it the first time as I was so taken with the photos.
ReplyDeleteI will let you know in a fortnight how the cough is !!!!!! Diane
DeletePretty apple blossoms! I have never seen a black tulip!
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful tulips and I love it when the sun catches them. Have a great weekend Diane
DeleteThose are gorgeous images, Diane. I'm delighted to see that spring is now with you - as it is here too!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear that your cough persists. I hope this new course of treatment cures it.
Take very good care, and don't try to do too much. With my best wishes - - - Richard
Richard this is a very busy time of the year, lots of French events which it is good to attend and keep on the right side of the right people!
DeleteThen the garden is now needing to be planted, and up until now it has been too wet to dig. Normally the garden would have been dug over and ready for planting long before now.
Hope that you have a good weekend, cheers Diane.
Sorry about the cough. I hope the pills help you with that. Beautiful pics, spring is here only if Mother Nature will stop playing with these silly little "winters". We are in Dogwood winter right now. Frost one morning and 79 that afternoon.....crazy.
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful here at present but next week it drops in temperature yet again!! Take care Diane
DeleteGlad to know there are some bees about. Hope this gets rid of the cough.
ReplyDeleteI think the cough is not as bad as it was so maybe........ Cheers Diane
DeleteTake all the time you need. Enjoy the gardening and getting outdoors in the sunshine.
