Nigel finally got home on Friday night after the plane cancellation and changing from Ryanair and Bristol airport to Flybe and Southampton airport. Masses of land travel with no refunds! Ever since He has been back home he has been in bed feeling terrible with a chest infection. We have our 6 month Dr check up tomorrow so hopefully he will get sorted out.
The computer finally got to the computer shop this morning and the hard drive is caput!!!!! They are going to put in a new one which is certainly cheaper than a new computer but it means it is going to take me a while to load everything back on and I will have lost my October photos which i had not backed up and were ready for posting 😬 thankfully everything else was backed up.
Not sure when I will be back in business again.
Take care and have a good week.

I've lost a couple of hared drives over the years. The loss of family pictures was the worst.
ReplyDeleteSo glad Nigel made it back home but very sorry he is ill
ReplyDeleteTake care, and come back soon.
xoxo
Hope all is well now with Nigel and your computer also. You take care, Diane, and have a good week also!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry Nigel is sick. Thank goodness you already had a doctor's visit lined up. Everything else can wait. Just take time and everything will fall into place. Hugs. xx
ReplyDeleteI’m the worst to not backup files. I am glad you are getting your computer fixed. I hope Nigel feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the computer. Glad Nigel is home safe and sound.
ReplyDeleteWow, you are having a difficult week, I'm sorry to read this. I hope things ease up soon. Take care, hugs to you.
ReplyDeleteTake care. These little life bumps have a way of reminding us of what is important.
ReplyDeleteSure hope Nigel is feeling better. And your computer too. Tech might be able to recover some things from the crashed drive.
ReplyDeleteIt is totally crashed out and they can save nothing!!!!
DeleteSorry for all the computer headaches you are having. It is always a pain when you have to deal with that sort of stuff.
ReplyDeleteComputers, iPads, smart phones....humbug! I had iPad problems in Australia and have to visit the Apple store this morning. But we can't live without these damn things any more can we? Get well soon, Diane.
ReplyDeleteOh dear everything happens at once. Hope both Nigel and the computer are in good working order soon.
