Maximum temperature today 11C, minimum 5C. 45mm rain measured so far this year; last year ended up as 1001 mm. 19km/h South-westerly winds with gusts up to 38 km/h.
Spring has sprung but I am sure the cold will return!
They are all over the place with many more to arrive yet.
Looking on.
Are you looking at me?
Just surveying the view.
Whispering in Mum's ear...
Hey, are you listening to me...
Obviously not...
Oh, I give up...
Now, where shall I go?
At the milk bar.
Oh this little sheep is sooooooooooo cute!!!!!!!!!!! I love your photos, Diane, and the great story you created!!!!!!!! Hugs, my friend.
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely and it is good to have them in the field right next door to us. Keep well and take care Diane
DeleteNice pictures of the sheep. Animals can be intersting to observe for a while.
ReplyDeleteIf I had the time, I could watch these for hours gambolling around in the field. Hope all is well Diane
DeleteSame here in TN...so cold one day and then the next warm. Today in the 70s and then in two days it will be 35! CRAZY. Just shook the head crap and so hoping I don't come down with it again. Love the sheep. We have a couple of goats living at the barn for a bit. They are so cute. Lady keeps them in the stall and comes to walk them everyday....WALKS THEM ON A LEASH!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are feling a bit better. A couple of days back we both sat in the house with the heating on and in our coats, then yesterday N was complaining he was too hot !! Walking goats could be fun. There are a couple down the road from us, but if I go close they head butt the fence to try and attack me - not friendly at all! Keep well Diane
DeleteYep...these two tried butting me through the bars of the stall until they actually met me when their mom had them out. Once they met me face to face they seem ok with me now.
DeleteNot sure about the ones down the road they look very cheeky!!
DeleteCute pictures and captions of the little cute sheep! These little ones can be very entertaining to watch.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nancy they are sw sweet at this age. Have a good week, Diane
DeleteWhen I was a boy I spent many cold nights.in the fields helping with the ewes lambing, so I have a soft spot in my heart for these little critters.
ReplyDeleteThay are so cute and there are a lot already this year. Hope you are feeling a bit cooler now :-) Diane
DeleteI could sit and watch lambs for hours, Diane - they are so gorgeous! My favourite time is when they're old enough to form gangs and play together - 'king of the castle' seems to be their favourite game if there is a pile of something to stand on! Your lovely images have me looking forward to the arrival of spring here, but I think it's going to be a while yet!
ReplyDeleteMy very best wishes to you and Nigel - - - - Richard
I must agree they are such fun to watch and especially when they gang up and play games. Even now they are very bouncy.
DeleteYes, I am sure spring is not here yet, but it is certainly a bit warmer at the present time. I have known frost here in May, so It is a continual watch on the weather for the garden and especially young plants in the vegetable garden
Thanks Richard for the good wishes for Nigel - more tests to undergo! Nothing very promising though! Not fatal, but very inconvenient and painful.
Best wishes to you both as always, Diane
Great photo's, Diane! I wonder, do they use the 'fur' for making knitting thread, (for lack of a better word).
ReplyDeleteOur weather yesterday and today 80, cooler over the weekend though.
Take care, good to see you again!
xoxo
Thanks Sally, yes they shear the sheep in late spring and then it is sent off to make wool. The weather here is much warmer but I am sure it will not last!!.
DeleteTake care and have a good week Diane xx
Adorable! How fun to watch them play and grow.
ReplyDeleteThay are such lovely little animals and so playful at this age as well. The best neighbours to have 😊 Hope you have a good week Diane
DeleteAdorable! Love these photos!
ReplyDeleteThanks Marie they are so cute. Take care Diane
DeleteThese lamb photos are adorable. Thanks for sharing them Diane, they certainly make me smile and go ahhhh :)
ReplyDeleteDon't they just, you cannot help smiling while watching them play. Hope all is well Diane
DeleteNice to get a little respite from the cold.
ReplyDeleteLong may it last !!! Cheers Diane
DeleteOh they are so cute and such a symbol of Spring and new life. Just love your captions.
ReplyDeleteIt was easy to caption as they told a story all of their own 🐏🐑 Hope the ankle is on the mend at last. T'other Diane
DeleteAcoAdora series of images Diane, surely a sign that spring is just around the corner. Have a good week, try to fit in some relaxing ✨
ReplyDeleteRelaxing is not easy there is always something that needs to be done!! Soon there will be lots of garden work again. The lambs really are so cute. Hope all is well there Diane
DeleteNothing cuter than baby animals! And lambs are near the top!
ReplyDeleteBlessings!
