01/02/2019 I could not get to the camera fast enough to get a good shot, the neighbour herding his first lambs into a drier place.
Glad you’re home safely!
ReplyDeleteThanks Marie it is good to be back. Keep well Diane
DeleteGreat pictures of the weather. I would love to know the story of the horse and rider statue at the bridge.
ReplyDeleteEmma there really is no story. All the bridges along that route have a statue of some kind on either side. Horse country has a horse, golf course has a golfer, tennis courts nearby has a tennis player and so it goes with farming etc etc. Happy day, Diane
DeleteBeautiful photographs. A definite change of season from warmth to cold.
ReplyDeleteAll the best,
Velva
Velva I will never get used to the cold wish we could live in the South and the North and move accordingly. Take care and have a good week Diane
DeleteBeautiful photos, Diane. The first one with the reflections reminds me a painting! Hugs, my dear friend.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mia, I always love reflections. Have a happy week Diane
DeleteYou always seem to be travelling!!! What an exciting way to live. Thanks for sharing your latest journey.😂
ReplyDeleteWe enjoy travelling but the UK is not our most favourite place I must say. While my FIL is still there though we will be visiting. Have a good day Diane
DeleteI never seem to tire of watching sunrise and sunset. They are different every single day.
ReplyDeleteI could not agree more though I seldom see sunrise since we retired I have to say!! Keep well Cheers Diane
DeleteLooks like you are home, Diane, and I will be home from Costa Rica on Thursday, so perhaps we will noth be back to normal shortly!
ReplyDeleteWould love to be in Costa Rica now, very cold here and I have a blogger friend who lives there who I would love to meet. Safe trip home, Diane
DeleteOh how nice to be home Diane, even though the weather looks tres cold! Spring will be there soon hopefully.. enjoy being home ✨
ReplyDeleteWe are very happy to be back but we now need spring to arrive!! Keep well and have a happy week Diane
DeleteEveryone seems to have gotten more snow then we did here in Nashville TN. even you! haha...love looking at your pics. Esp that first one. Nice.
ReplyDeleteI would be more than happy if we had not have had snow, not my favourite weather I have to say, roll on spring!! Take care Diane
DeleteThe canals, colors and horses are awesome in Devizes but it has to feel good to be home. Bummer to have the snowy drive though.
ReplyDeleteIt is really good to be back home. I do love the drays in Devizes though they are usually out too early for me to see them. Hope all is well there, Diane
DeleteAlways a trying time caring for elderly parents. Glad you are home safely. As always, love your photos!
ReplyDeleteRelax and enjoy!
It was very trying this year, FIL was not well and the Alzheimer’s gets worse each time we see him. He is nearly 98 though and incredible for his age. Hope all is well there Diane
DeleteLove the reflections on the water in the first pic.
ReplyDeleteReflections are always special. Cheers Diane
DeleteFIRST LAMBS!!!! Ah...
ReplyDeleteHow are you now, Diane. Glad you are back?
Feeling much better now thanks, and yes glad to be back home. I have not seen the lambs, since it has been very cold and I suspect they are all in the barn. Take care and enjoy your week Diane
DeleteThat is a beautiful reflection in the first picture. Lovely sunsets. It is good to know that you are home safe and sound. Keep warm. Have a good day!
ReplyDeleteThanks Nancy, it is good to be back home and sleeping in our own bed :-) Take care Diane
DeleteGreat shots - love the sunset one!
ReplyDeleteThat was an interesting trip home. Not nice dRiving in bad weather but the scenery is interesting.
ReplyDeleteI can see now why you said your drive home wasn't the most pleasant, Diane! How wonderful to see that Wadworths are still using the horse-drawn dray to deliver their ales. I last saw reference to this maybe 20 years ago. Waddie's 6X is one of my favourite ales!
ReplyDeleteI hope that Nigel's hospital visit went well. With my very best wishes to you both - - - Richard
