We are both on the mend, I am still coughing and Nigel is having headaches other than that we are just fine!
Driving to Limoges 3 April...
Passing Rochechouart chateau...
Almost back home, we just got in the door before the rain reached the house.

It really is very cute. Thanks for the visit and the comment appreciated Diane
DeleteGet well you guys! Spring is here and summer is not too far behind. Time to get out and enjoy.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are back, looking forward to your new photos. Please don't put them all in one blog I will never be able to download them!! Enjoy the rest of the week Diane
DeleteI will cover the trip in increments, Diane. It is easier for me that way too.
DeleteBeautiful photos once again. Although it looks very overcast in some photos I can also see the beautiful sunshine. I'm afraid we are getting very little sun these past few weeks and I'm finding it rather cold. that should change soon but once again it means I do very late planting. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteWe have had a few grey days but not too bad and it looks like a nice Easter coming up. I am also late in planting as it has not been warm enough! Hope the remainder of the week is good to you Diane
DeletePopping by to wish you and Nigel continued healing and a blessed Easter. xx
DeleteGlad to hear you are both feeling somewhat better and the weather allows you out.
ReplyDeleteHi Gaelyn, yes we are both on the mend but it is slow! Warmer weather ahead which is cheering. Hope you are well and looking forward to starting work again very soon. Diane
DeleteThose clouds look nasty. The pictures are nice.
ReplyDeleteThanks Emma, the weather has not been too bad really just the day we went to Limoges Thanks for the comment, Diane
DeleteLove the sky in the third photo. You do get photos of insects!
ReplyDeleteWinter it is easy to get photos of birds and in summer it is easier to get insects 😉 Hope all is well with you Diane
DeleteThe thief is so cute☺☺
ReplyDeleteI can only agree with that, very cute. Have a good day, Diane
DeleteI did not even realize to a few yrs ago that there were such a thing as Voles. I have a issue in the yard with Moles. Messing up the yard big time. Thinking it will not be an issue in the back yard....fenced area anyway with the dogs but the front, wow......Great pics.
ReplyDeleteMoles can be a real pain. We get them from time to time. I think they come under the road from the field opposite where there are sheep, and there is almost more mole hills than grazing grass!! I suspect with all the sheep poop the soil is quite fertile in the field and the there is a good food supply for the moles in earthworms!! Hope all is going a bit better for you now. Diane
DeleteWishing you and Nigel speedy recovery. I have to agree that the "thief" is cute but it will make me run!
ReplyDeleteThanks Nancy, we are both feeling much better now but it has take a while!! The vole is so cute, why run? Take care Diane
DeleteI especially love the shots of the red poppy. So pretty.
ReplyDeleteFabulous series! Love each and every photo. Rochechouart Chateau looks magnificent up on the hill. Your insect macros are always amazing. Scenery, flowers, moon and that little Bank Vole, a naughty bird-stealing creature but a delightful one. Thank you Diane and Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteSo happy to hear you are both feeling a bit better Diane, the cough always lingers far too long, in fact as we both know, sometimes never stops 😱 Beautiful series of spring images here 🌷 Take care xox
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter ☺☺
ReplyDeleteGreat shots! Fun to see, even your threatening sky is lovely.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter! What beautiful flowers to go with an Easter post.
