14/04/2018 Yesterday's photos today, but I still have more to catch up on as well!!

Maximum temperature today 16C, minimum 9C.   2 mm of rain measured this morning; 12 km/h South Easterly winds with up to 32 km/h gusts.
Total rainfall so far this year now 437 mm.

A lone bee in the cherry tree, but not being accommodating for photos!

Also anti photos, was what I believe to be a wasp in the Acer blossom.

Buzzing by at speed in the lawn, possibly the same wasp as above.

Les gendarme beetles (Pyrrhocoris apterus).

Ground ivy everywhere!

Wild violets.

Then I saw my first small common lizard of 2018. So happy they are back...

followed by a larger one checking to see if it was safe to come out...

obviously it was

Just a bit later, I saw that love was in the air...

As above.

RIP little shrew - damn barn cats!!

N.B. My new bird blog is HERE
