27/02/2015 The sun came out, and despite the cold wind there were a few surprises in store for the camera.

Is your spring late Diane? Or ours early? I'm used to the Charente being at least 3-4 weeks ahead of us but we have crocus, snowdrops and daffodils out too. A welcome sight. No bees yet though!
ReplyDeleteNot sure I know the answer to that Craig, but looking back at past photos our crocuses and daffodils were later than February, maybe we are both early, it has been a relatively mild winter here. We have though had much more rain than we have ever seen in the 9 years we have been here. When we bought here, we were told to expect water restrictions as it was a drought area. We have had one year that was dryish but no restrictions here. Have a good day Diane
