Maximum temperature 11C, minimum 4C, 15 mm rain measured this morning. 51 km/h SW wind.
The sun filtering through a spot in the dark clouds.
Bergenia Cordifolia, a bit marked with the continuous rain.
Calendula.
Chaenomeles japonica, it should not be in flower at this time of the year!
Snowdops peaking through.
Pork hock and vegetables. The first of 2016 leeks from the garden.
Love the snow drops peeking through. Hope you are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteSlowly on the mend but my lungs are never quick in recovery! I must remember to keep an eye on those snowdrops, they are well hidden under a shrub. Hope all well over there, t'other Diane
DeleteHello Diane - happy new year to you and Nigel - sorry have not posted but we were having computer problems in France - So sorry that you have been ill - not nice to come home feeling unwell. Glad to see you managed to get up and venture out. Pictures lovely as always. We had wonderful weather whilst there - but on the last two days it rained so cannot complain.
ReplyDeleteHi Anne, you were so lucky with the weather, wish we had been here rather than the UK, I might now be feeling so much better. I have hardly been out at all, Nigel has been doing all the running around! Keep well, all the best for 2016. A bientôt, Diane
DeleteThat's a lot of colour for early January! About 6 weeks early?
ReplyDeleteThe problem with the fruit trees coming out, if we have frost now there will be no fruit!! Having just bought the dehydrator I will not be impressed. Have a good day Diane
