01/09/2016 Another month gone by, sure they go faster than they used to!! Bugs again.

Maximum temperature 30C, minimum 15C.  11 km/h NE wind. Very Dry.
This was unknown to me but thanks to Noushka, the butterfly we now know is a Purple Emperor.

Speckled Wood in hiding.

Shield bug Graphosoma italicum.

Bloodvein Moth.

Bumblebee on the sedum.

Possibly a Meadow Brown but not absolutely sure.

Scarce Copper female.

as above.

Small White.

And a Green Lizard that obviously thinks I cannot see him LOL.

    Hello Diane,
    I am really impressed with the quality of your photos, have you a new camera?
    Your first butterfly is gorgeous, it is the Purple Emperor; the wings shine purple when opened.
    I love photo n°2, like a peeping through a hole to spy on the it!!
    And the bumblebee on the sedum is also beautiful, and... well the are all great!! LOL!

      Thanks Noushka for your kind comment, no same Nikon 3200 as I have been using for several years now. Just lucky sometimes :) Thanks for the identification, once you said what it was, I looked in my book and wondered why I had not been able to identify it!!!
