The buildings surrounding the market have so much history I would imagine. A lovely spot for a market.
ReplyDeleteThe church of St Saturnin in Chasseneuil is dated from the eleventh and twelfth centuries, so yes masses of history. Every Saturday there is a small market here, and in another spot on Wednesdays. The once a month they have a huge market that takes over the whole town. Have a good day Diane
DeleteLiking the look of dinner. I also like that clear dish (Pyrex?). Nice to see all the ingredients.
ReplyDeleteWe love Pintade and I serve it with an orange sauce, yum yum. That saucepan is good on top, or in the oven which makes it doubly useful. It is Corning ware Vision made in France, BUT Nigel bought it for me in South Africa at least 20 years ago! Hope your day is a good one Diane
DeleteGreat looking produce - I always like to buy in markets if I can.

Thanks Stewart for the comment, yes I agree, market food is generally very fresh and tastes better than supermarket food. Hope you have a good week Diane
