DeleteBrings back fond memories for me. We spent a whole moth in SA a few years ago and birded pretty much the whole country, including Lesotho and right up to the borders with Swaziland and Lesotho. Great trip.
ReplyDeleteDavid we were there for a month also and travelled many miles. We had thoughts of adding the Cape into our trip but there was not enough time! Glad that it brings back good memories. Diane
DeleteOh my!!!

DeleteYour photos are fabulous, you must have had such an amazing time, makes my recent trip to Cyprus look very tame. However Cyprus is worth a visit if you do get an opportunity.
ReplyDeleteLinda all places have their own beauty, Cyprus is well worth a visit I am sure. So many places to see still in this world but returning to RSA is still on the list! Diane
DeleteGorgeous photos, Diane!!! It is so nice to have you back. Thank you so much for sharing, and I hope you are having a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda for the kind comment. It is good to be back though part of me will stay forever in South Africa. You have a good weekend also Diane
DeleteYour photos are amazing and make me (second) home sick. I think your pesky wind is here today.
ReplyDeleteThe wind since we have been back is a pain and we are now getting lots of rain as well. Not a great home coming weather wise! The whole trip made me very homesick but I do love France as well so....... Keep well Diane
DeleteJust been scrolling through your blog to catch up with your trip to SA. Lovely photos. I see that you had a good time. It must have been nostalgic.
