20/07/2017 A trip to the surgeon for Nigel re his knee and shoulder and then to the Dr after, a long slow day!!

Maximum temperature 24C, minimum 13C.   10 km/h NW winds with 13 km/h gusts.  Dry.
Connection is so slow tonight that it has taken 3/4 of an hour to put this (slightly drooping) rose on the blog.  
Hopefully I can catch up tomorrow, a slow day, and a very slow computer!!!!

      We will see what happens after he has MRIs. Connection keeps going today but at least when here it appears a bit faster!! Take care Diane

    The rose is beautiful even though it may be slightly drooping. I hope everything is going well regarding Nigel knee and shoulder. And also for your computer to pick up speed.

      Thanks so much Nancy. We await more info on shoulder and knee as he is going for MRIs so we will know more after that, still waiting for an appointment. Computer better today though it is dropping connection a lot! Have a great weekend Diane

    Hope things went well with the knee surgeon Diane, I've been there myself.. thankfully no operation necessary. Love the rose, is it a David Austin rose called 'Just Joey'? Looks very much like one I have, gorgeous perfume too! Enjoy your weekend ✨

      Grace I have no idea what the rose is. It was in the garden in the UK when we bought the house there, and I took a cutting and planted it here. I loved it so much as it just kept flowering and the perfume is incredible.
      The knee was not such a big problem, or he does not think so, but the shoulder is a different story. We have to wait for the MRIs though before we jump in to the deep end. You have a great weekend also. Diane

    Hello. I have also been having very slow internet connection for the past few weeks and it keeps disconnecting itself! Very irritating. I thought it was just local but is obviously a worldwide phenomenon. I hope Nigel's knee get fixed up properly. Kim

      Kim we are always slow, maximum 0.5 if we are lucky. They are talking about speeding things up but it will be years rather than months!! Nigel's knee is the least problem, the shoulder is bad and he seems to be getting recurring infection from the spider bite that he had while in RSA. He is not happy at present and is really not feeling well. I feel very sorry for him and there is little I can do to help. Diane
