Speckled wood ( Pararge aegeria)
Our garden bench.
Zinnia.
Our neighbours Sumac tree. Great colours, but we spend our life killing all the young trees that come up all over our lawn!!!!! Grrrrrr.
Christmas cactus.
The only photogenic bird around today!! Checking the sky here for maybe sparrow hawks...
taking a drink...
but preferring the stone ashtray to take a bath...
as above...
That feels better 😉
Such beautiful photos you share with us, Diane! I always look forward to seeing them. :)

Thanks Sally, I always try to take good photos but it does not always work out as planned!! Keep well Diane.
DeleteHi Diane, Very pretty Autumnal photos, love the bird on the birdbath and do love that birdbath!
ReplyDeleteThe 'bird bath' is certainly a bit different :-) Take car Diane
DeleteI love the bird photos but they are all beautiful, Diane. The water droplets are a great capture!
ReplyDeleteThanks Marie for the kind comment, have a good day Diane
DeleteLovely Autumn colours and views, Diane! I love seeing this pretty little bird taking a bath, too!
ReplyDeleteI could watch the birds all day but the moment I pick up the camera they generally vanish!!! Keep well Diane
DeleteHello dear Diane,
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for king comment and concern!
Don't worry I am not as much at risk when "shooting" the deer as they are...
I can't believe how many were culled again but those bl.... hunters this time round... Very sad.
Your garden must be such a beauty from what I see in your beautiful photos!!!
I love the sumac tree especially the fall, what magnificent colors!
Warm hugs and take care :)
Just stay safe and keep a watch out. I hate it when all the sanglier around here are shot but I also understand that we have so many here and they do a lot of damage to the crops. I am sure though the deer do little damage and they also get shot as well :-(((( Take care of that rib !!!! Very gentle hugs Diane
DeleteAmazed at how many flowers you guys still have in bloom....but I really should not be. Been a strange yr. I have seen things in bloom around the neighborhood that usually bloom in the spring. Things are so messed up. I bet you make a great pumpkin bread. I love it. So good with coffee in the morning.
ReplyDeleteThink the plants are totally confused by the warm spell we have just had!!! If we get heavy frosts now it is going to do a lot of damage. I see buds on shrubs that should be waiting for spring!!!!! Take care Diane
DeleteBeautiful shots of the bird, Diane. I LOVE the one when the bird is having a bath!!! So funny!!! Kisses, my friend.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mia, the birds bathing are fabulous to watch and when there is many of them lined up it is very amusing. Keep well Diane
DeleteThe little boy in the bird bath looks like he is soitting at the bird. Funny
ReplyDeleteThe birds are always amusing when bathing. Take care Diane
DeleteYour garden bench looks like delightful place to sit. Love how you capture the water drops with the bathing bird.
ReplyDeleteWe do not often use that bench, not sure why not except it is in the shade and if the sun is shining we pick a sunny spot. Diane
