For those following the South African holiday Part 8 is now on the web HERE
Hello Diane, your Christmas Cactus is blooming beautifully and it is lovely seeing the birds are having a lovely bathtime. Very entertaining. Lastly your moonshot is stunning!
ReplyDeleteI have to say I was pretty happy with that moon shot. I always want to get something other than the moon and there are no trees in the right place. The clouds solved my problem :-0 Take care Diane
DeleteYour bird bath gets lots of action, Diane. Love the photos!
ReplyDeleteSo long as I keep filling the water up I have happy birds :-))))) Have a good day Diane
DeleteThe bird bath is so popular it's time to have feather shampoo available and little blow driers for drying wet plumage.
ReplyDeleteThink they were not impressed this morning when all the water was solid ice!!! Keep well Diane
DeleteThen on your next shopping expedition when you go into town for one of those fabulous four or five course lunches with wine, or the opening of a building, with champagne, or other such mundane activities, you will have to buy one of those little submersible heater thingies to keep the spa open despite the temperature. Now I'll go and make sandwiches for Miriam and me - no wine!
DeleteLOL
DeleteThe picture of the moon is great. The sparrow looked to be enjoying it's bath. Great pictures.
ReplyDeleteMany thanks the birds quite often rescue me when there is little outside to photograph. Diane
DeleteThe colour in that Christmas cactus is gorgeous. I love your actions shots of the birds in the bath too - you've even captured the water splashing through the air.
ReplyDeleteI aim to try and get the splashing it makes it so much more interesting :-))) Cheers Diane
DeleteLove the birds having a bath. great moon shot too. Getting cooler, I see.
ReplyDeleteCooler went to cold this morning!!!! Hope all is well t'other Diane
DeleteThe bird playing in the water is so sweet. I hope it doesn't catch a cold.

They seem to be fine with the cold and the bath, guess the feathers dry very quickly. Enjoy your day Diane
DeleteMy Christmas cactus has stopped blooming but growing new leave. Beautiful moon picture!
ReplyDeleteI still have some flowers but they are going over. Enjoy the rest of the week Diane
DeleteMy mom gave me her BIG Christmas Cactus a month ago....said it had not bloomed in yrs. I noticed the other day...yes, it has a bloom! HAHA....Beautiful pics.
