Maximum temperature today 5C, minimum -2C. Raining as I type this but not measured yet. North Westerly winds; 9 km/h with up to 27 km/h gusts.
The first time we have seen the moon for a month due to cloud cover! Hand held I was too lazy to get the tripod out!!!
You have alliterative weather - frost and freezing fog. I was thinking of adding to the alliteration but I had better not! It sure looks grim there and I can’t believe that people were driving without lights.
ReplyDeleteWe noticed that the ones with no lights seemed to be most cars like BMW and Mercs, obviously they think they are obvious regardless of weather conditions!! Diane
DeleteAh, winter. She shows us many faces. At least we are half way to spring.
ReplyDeleteSpring cannot come fast enough for me, I will never get used to the cold!! Keep warm Diane
DeleteBeautiful shots. The mist is amazing.
ReplyDeleteNot good to drive in but great for photos :-) Keep well Diane
DeleteWow that fog is bad. It does make moody photos though. I wouldn't like to drive in it. It is still warm here even though we have had a few days of much needed rain and it did cool down considerably like to 22°C. Hope you see the sun soon and I hope you are over your illness. We are fine.
ReplyDeleteGlad all well there. I am over the flu or whatever it was as such but I am still coughing,it will not go away! Driving was not nice but it would have helped if if a few stupid people had turned on their lights!! I would be very happy if we were 22C! Take care t'other Diane
DeleteI dislike driving in the fog. Not everyone is careful.
ReplyDeleteSome people drive far too fast and others think they can be seen without lights on. Mad!! Hope all is well Diane
DeleteWere you able to view the red moon?
ReplyDeleteThis is the first sighting of the moon for over a month. We have had continual cloud cover and rain. Cheers Diane
DeletePS. I agree some of those fog photos do look spooky!
DeleteI can't believe there were some driving without lights in that weather Diane, that's so dangerous! Definitely weather to venture out in as little as possible.. especially if you have a cough 😀 Looks amazing though!
ReplyDeleteThere are always some idiots on the road, they obviously don't care of they have an accident but it would always be the other person who gets hurt!! Yes not good for a cough!! Cheers Diane
DeleteBeautiful photos of the fox, Diane. I especially love the moon! Kisses, my friend.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mia but I guess the fox was supposed to be fog :-)) Take care Diane.
DeleteI wouldn't enjoy driving in that fog, and what in the world would cause people to drive without the lights on. That's beyond my comprehension! Great photos though, Diane. You did an awesome take of the moon. :)
ReplyDeletexoxo
Driving in fog without lights on is madness but there are some people in this world who are mad I guess. It will always be the other person who who would suffer if there is an accident! I was surprised the moon was so good being hand held! Take care and keep warm. Diane
DeleteHi Diane. What a beautiful sunset to end an otherwise miserable day. It is scary driving through mist, especially when other drivers think they are indestructible and drive without lights - a common occurence in SA. We have had a few days of drizzle here and temps in the 20's (celcius). Take care. Kim
ReplyDeleteOh Kim I know about SA drivers!!!! They do not even stop at traffic lights when they are red!! Hope the drizzle is enough to keep the garden damp. 20 C sound better than our minus figures!! Take care Diane
DeletePretty sighting of the moon! So dangerous to drive in such condition without the lights! Yes, the road scene looks very spooky. I like the evening sky!
ReplyDeleteVery dangerous to drive with out lights but some people........... Not nice to drive in, but great for photos! Cheers Diane
DeleteThe temperature is nice but the drizzle is encouraging mozzies and weeds!
ReplyDeleteNeither of which you need!!! Diane
DeleteDefinitely not!
ReplyDeleteThe fog certainly was thick. I do love a foggy morning... not when driving though!
