13/02/2018 Before and after the snow!

Maximum temperature today 5C, minimum -1C.  Snowing again then more rain to wash it away.  North Westerly winds; 13 km/h with up to 37 km/h gusts.  
Common chaffinch, male (Fringilla coelebs).

Eurasian blue tit (Cyanistes caeruleus)

European goldfinch (Carduelis carduelis), A rare visitor this year though we used to get many.

    1. It did not last as long as icing as it then started to rain. To us it is snow, but then we are not daft enough to live in the freezing North!! Diane

  7. You do get the sweetest visitors Diane! Do you shoot through a window or step outside? Looks way too cold for that 😱 your garden looks tres jolie with a dusting of snow!
