ReplyDeleteDavid I am wondering if it will ever stop raining but I guess it will eventually. It is very depressing!!!! Bonne journée. Diane
DeleteThat's an ominous sky in the first two shots Diane! Love the macros as always, I very much wish I had your steady hand
ReplyDeleteI am very glad I have a steady hand as I would get nowhere if I had to use the tripod at every stop. Even the moon was hand held. Take care Diane
DeleteI do love your pictures. The ones just before rain are outstanding.
ReplyDeleteThanks Emma. Those before the rain were lucky shots, I just looked out at the right moment! Take care Diane
DeleteThose storm clouds provide a dramatic backdrop to all that lush green and the water droplets are quite nice. It has to stop eventually.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are right Gaelyn, I keep thinking it is about to stop but... Guess then we will have a drought :-) Take care Diane
DeleteThe second photo is my favourite, Diane. The sky makes a moody background. Vibrant colours in the flowers are gorgeous too.
ReplyDeleteHa ha, I prefer the first one, but they are quite similar other than the pampas. I am glad to see the tulips seem to be surviving the weather. Have a good day Diane
DeleteThe days are hot but by late afternoon, rain is expected!
ReplyDeleteI would not mind the rain if the days here were hot!!! Take care Diane
DeleteI just got back from India (those posts will come out in a few weeks) but I was thinking of you there as I was surprised to see so many gorgeous flowers...and... I managed to capture a bloom with a bee on it! Not my talent but clearly yours and I wanted to share it with you. It was right outside the Taj Mahal.
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to the photos taken in India, a country that we have not visited. Cheers Diane
DeleteWe had a tad of rain last week, but could actually use more. As always, your photos are stunning. :)
ReplyDeletexoxo
Thanks Sally you can have some of our rain!!!! Take care Diane
DeleteWe are getting rain all this week. It curtails my morning walks.A bother for the Commonwealth games too. We have a cyclone off the coast that went out to sea and reformed a second time. Your before the rain shots are dramatic.
ReplyDeleteThanks Diane, yes I am sure you do not need rain for the games, our has just been never ending this year. I want to get out and do some gardening but it is just mud!! Take care t'other Diane
DeleteWOW Diane, is that your garden???
ReplyDeleteWhat a beauty you turned it into, and what a difference since the beginning!
I just love this fist photo :)
Back from Spain and busy with chores I hate... before preparing for SA!!!
Wish we could take a trip together once!
I am already planning my trips for next year! LOL!
All the best and take care :)
Yes our garden, I would love to join you but..... I am just hoping that we do not have to go in a hurry! We have vistors August/September so that is the only major plans we have at present.
DeleteTake care, thankfully it is warming up a bit! Hugs Diane
Amazing photos! Hope you've had a lovely Easter Weekend!
