Still busy with the painting, things have slowed up a bit as it has been very cloudy and difficult to see properly as the house is quite dark.  The garden must be happy though with last nights rainfall 😊.

  1. We take the elderberry flowers, dip them in batter, deep fry them and serve them with maple syrup.

    1. Sounds interesting but I don't like frying deep with batter, it messes up the oil and than I have to filter it! I am going to try making some syrup and see if I can sort this cough out once and for all. Qui ne risque rien n'a rien !! Hope you have a good week Diane

  2. Beautiful photos. I'm glad you are taking a bit of a break from painting as you must be getting tired by now. That is a lot of painting. I have to do a bit myself but have so many other things on the go. Not sure when I will get to it. Hopefully before winter rolls around. Have a good Sunday Diane.

    1. Back trying to paint again but it is too dark and I canot see properly what I am doing! Just cloudy all the time again. I need to get this finished before August and visitors. Nigel is struggling with rubbing down and re varnishing all the wooden windows and doors. French varnish does not last like English varnish does!! Hope you have a good week Diane
