06/11/2017 A few of the flowers and plants I have seen here on Nevis, many of which I cannot identify!

Bougainvillea - red and white on the same plant.

Flame Lily - the national flower of Zimbabwe and was also of Rhodesia.

A Bismark palm.

One of the strelitzia species....

One of the species of Spider lily.

Known locally as the Monkey no climb tree because of its thorns.
(Hura crepitans), the sandbox tree, also known as possumwood and jabillo.

04/12/2017 A few photos from yesterday -still on Nevis.

I think this is an Ixora Red Spike Flower.

19/05/2015 In the garden and shopping.

Maximum temperature 15C, minimum 7C.  33km/h W wind.
Clouds about a light shower so far.  18h49 the rain has started!
