28 August 1981 we were married in Randburg, Johannesburg, South Africa.

The hair situation has changed a bit since then!

Discovered this gorgeous caterpillar on the beans today....

It is a Common Swallowtail (Papilio machaon)

Just so pretty and I moved it around a bit for photos ...

but hopefully all is well and it will carry on its life cycle.

18/05/2014 A repas (luncheon) for the oldies in the commune today so we took a break from the stresses of the fosse!

Maximum temperature 24C, but the car parked in the sun was reading 35C!!!  Rain could be back tomorrow if the forecast is right!

19/02/2014 Shopping at Champniers (just North of Angouleme). Then we returned to Leclerk and Lidl.

Maximum temperature 11C. 2 mm rain measured overnight. Some drizzle later not measured as yet.
