26/03/2020 Playing with frames again.

Maximum temperature here today 12C, minimum 0C. Dry.  Frost this morning, ice on the birdbath.   16km/h North-easterly icy cold wind with gusts up to 39 km/h.  

Think this might be Hawksbeard but not sure which one.

Seen out walking and unknown.

Daffodil.

Grape Hyacinth Blue (Muscari armeniacum). Plus a weed!

Cowslip (Primula veris).

Blackthorn (Prunus spinosa).

Bay tree (Laurus nobilis).

Cherry tree blossom.

Poppies, and yes the bulbs came from Amsterdam.

Mirabelle plum blossom, also known as mirabelle prune or cherry plum (Prunus domestica subsp. syriaca) plus a bee.

22/03/2017 Looking around at what my neighbours have in their gardens!

Maximum temperature 13C, minimum 2C.  44km/h SW wind. 7 mm of rain measured this morning.  Very cold wind!
Daffodil with a fly. The only insect out today I think!

Grape Hyacinth.

Ground ivy (Glechoma hederacea) a pest!

Ribes sanguineum glutinosum.  Pink-Flowered Currant.

Neighbouring paddock with sheep.

and back in our house is this Kalachoe.

24/03/2016 Nigel had a trip to La Rochefoucauld and a few photos from the garden.

Maximum temperature 14C, minimum 1C.  21 km/h W wind. Dry. Rain forecast for tomorrow and Easter!

13/03/2016 Woke up late!! Got the washing on the line for the first time this year. Tried to cut the grass but the mower refused to start. Sounds like the solenoid so it will have to go to the shop!!
