11/03/2018 A walk in the garden. Amazing what a difference a bit of sun makes!

Maximum temperature today 17C, minimum 10C.   2 mm of rain measured this morning; 14 km/h Southerly winds with up to 47 km/h gusts.  
Daffodils.

Lawn daisy and Cranesbill.

Rosemary beetles.

Possibly a bee of some kind.

Common Blackbird (Turdus merula).  Male.

Calendula with a number of very tiny beetles.

Camellia.

Common Speedwell.

Crocus.

Lawn daisy and fly.

As above.

What I believe to be a hoverfly.  Spectacular colouring.

Hyacinths.

Young leaves on the weeping willow.

Unknown bug...

12/03/2017 Overcast and few bugs around today.

Maximum temperature 15C, minimum 9C.  33km/h NE wind. No rain as yet but some forecast. 
Bergenia Cordifolia.

The gendarme beetle, (Pyrrhocoris apterus), spring must be on its way!

Apple blossom.

Blue Tit against a grey sky.

Hyacinth.

Green shoots on the willow tree.

Rosemary beetle, (Chrysolina americana) so pretty but a pest!

17/10/2016 Yippee we had 5 mm of rain last night. Not a lot, but anything helps.

Maximum temperature 19C, minimum 11C.  16 km/h SE wind. 5 mm rain overnight.

13/03/2016 Woke up late!! Got the washing on the line for the first time this year. Tried to cut the grass but the mower refused to start. Sounds like the solenoid so it will have to go to the shop!!
