20/01/2022 Three weeks since my last post - I must do better !

  The maximum temperature here today is 7⁰C, minimum 2⁰C. Blue skies but with quite a lot of clouds. Wind 15km/h North-Easterly winds with gusts up to 33 km/h.  4mm of rain was measured this morning.  We have had a very chilly week, today thankfully it is a bit warmer.

16 January about 20 minutes before the Full Wolf Moon.  Clouds moved in about an hour after taking this photo!

19 January after a very stormy day.

A lovely surprise 9 January when this Cirl Bunting ( Emberiza cirlus) was spotted on the verandah.

13/04/2018 Friday 13th and I am still trying to catch up :-) A wet walk in the garden yesterday.

Maximum temperature today 18C, minimum 7C.   5 mm of rain measured over the last two days; 11 km/h South Easterly winds with up to 29 km/h gusts.

Total rainfall so far this year now 435 mm.

Apple blossoms not quite out yet.

My possible identification is Hilara maura a species of dance fly but....

Japanese Quince.

Laurel.

Mirabelle Plum blossom.

Red Robin buds.

Tulips.

Apple blossom with unknown bug.

Dandelion clock.

17/02/2018 A walk around the garden and a few inside photos.

Maximum temperature today 12C, minimum 4C.  12 mm of rain measured last night. North Easterly winds; 6 km/h with up to 16 km/h gusts.

09/11/2017 Very chilly and photos not easily come by.

Maximum temperature 10C, minimum 6C.  7km/h NE winds, 26km/h gusts. 10 mm rain measured in the last two days.

Sorry yesterday got lost in a flurry of things.  The overlocker  decided to keep breaking thread and re-threading it is a pain, I must have done it a dozen times at least before I got the tension correct again....

Finally got there and made this warm top for myself!  Then I had computer problems so......

A little lavender still around but the frost finished off the zinnias.
