29/04/2016 The day just disappeared with nothing much to show for it, N did though cut all the lawn edges. A few random emergency shots in the garden..

Maximum temperature  15C, minimum  1C.    20 km/h NW winds. Dry. Frost this morning.
Common lizard.

Bee on the rosemary shrub.

Bluebells.

Camellia.

Greenfinch.

Irises.

Snowball bush, Viburnum opulus. These will double in size and turn white in a week or so.

Choisya ternata,

Our cabbages are starting to look good enough to eat soon :-)

  2. Diane, the Camellia flowers are beautiful. They do look so like roses. I am so envious of your cabbage, how I wish I can grow cabbage in my garden too.

    1. We have a good vegetable garden, small by French standards, but adequate for the two of us. It keeps us going for most of the year. Diane

  3. "Just some random shots" are wonderful shots. I love the narrow depth of field.
