Every time I visit your page I want to grab my camera and set out to photograph! But....to stinking hot out there so The KING, Lily and I are hiding in the house. Yesterday our temps were 98 with a feels like of 110. Today is supposed to be better but I refuse to venture out to see until the sun starts to go down.
ReplyDeleteIt is quite cool hare at the moment, the weather this year is very up and down! I agree though you do not want to go our when it is very hot. Take care Diane

DeleteOutstanding macros Diane, lovely garden and the sunflower photo is icing on the cake :)
ReplyDeleteThe sunflowers are everywhere at the moment, there seem to be more than usual this year, I also love them. Take care Diane
DeleteLovely shots as usual. Love the bee in the pumpkin. What a fabulous vegie garden you have. What do you do with them all other than eat them and store them. Surely there are too many for you.
ReplyDeleteEveryone grows there own veggies here except one neighbour who I give some from time to time. Otherwise the are all used one way or another. Dehydrated, frozen, soup...... we never need to buy vegetables during winter. This year the potatoes lasted right through with good storage and we were only a couple of weeks without before I started digging them up here again. We have sweet potatoes as well. T'other Diane
DeleteIt's amazing how much wing damage butterflies can suffer and still fly.
