18/09/2017 The sun was shining and a much warmer day :-)

Maximum temperature 18C,  minimum 8C.  7 km/h SW wind with 24 km/h gusts. 4 mm of rain yesterday and overnight. 
Bumble bee on the lavender.

24/07/2017 A few quick shots in the morning, we have been in Angouleme all afternoon and nowhere where I could take photos!

Maximum temperature 24C, minimum 15C.   24 km/h NW winds with 39 km/h gusts. 13 mm rain measured this morning.
Calendula and bee.

Gatekeeper female -she seems to have a little wing damage....

Finally in the veg garden - Haricot beans in the front, chard left back, carrots far right back and if you look carefully, you can see the fern from the fennel between the carrots and haricot....

Spring onions in the front and more carrots behind....

and under all this green are some excellent parsnips.

Sunflowers by the side of the road en route to Angouleme.

03/05/2017 Went to town for a haircut, but although I had the camera I took no photos, so back to the garden again.

Maximum temperature 16C, minimum 6C. 8 kmh NW wind. Cloud and a little sun.  1 mm of rain measured this morning.
Bee on the red robin shrub.

06/04/2017 Not much change since yesterday!

Maximum temperature 14C, minimum 4C.  32 kmh NE wind with 41 kmh gusts, very chilly and unpleasant!   Dry.
The tulip bud from yesterday is slightly more open.

30/11/2016 Nigel goes to town and I walk around the garden.

Maximum temperature 15C,minimum 2C. 38km/h SW wind.  
Wednesday market - fish and vegetables.

The local Intermarche has all its windows painted for Christmas, also some interesting reflections...

Choisya ternata and a surprise to see a bee out although the sun was shining today.
