03/05/2017 Went to town for a haircut, but although I had the camera I took no photos, so back to the garden again.

Maximum temperature 16C, minimum 6C. 8 kmh NW wind. Cloud and a little sun.  1 mm of rain measured this morning.
Bee on the red robin shrub.

21/04/2017 Just a few photos from the garden.

Maximum temperature 18C, minimum -2C. 17 kmh NE wind with 23 kmh gusts.  Much improved weather and by this afternoon it was really quite pleasant.  Dry.
Bee on the choisya ternata.

07/09/2016 Just one of those days! Gardening, cooking etc.....

Maximum temperature 32C, minimum 11C.  39 km/h SW wind. Very Dry.
Californian Poppy and bug.

Common Blue female.

Hazel nuts.  Just over 3 kg gathered from the floor.

Ugh not my favourite beast. Think it may be Genus Tegenaria.

03/06/2016 Busy day again a few random shots around the garden. Also FIL's tea party for his 95th bithday.

 Maximum temperature  21C, minimum 10C.  26 km/h NE winds. 1 mm rain measured.
An almost identical photo taken last year of the Hummingbird hawk-moth (Macroglossum stellatarum). First one to be seen this year.

The third time this year that the Japanese quince has flowered, think it is more that a little confused by the weather! (Chaenomeles japonica).
