22/10/2017 Autumn in the garden.

Maximum temperature 15C, minimum 9C.  15 km/h SW winds, 42 km/h gusts. Surprisingly only 3mm of rain, it seemed much more!!
Ginkgo biloba.

Cotoneaster.

Fallen leaves.

Coriander flower.

Crane-fly on the Rosemary.

Still zinnias opening.

Figs.

Climbing rose.

Viburnum.

Raindrop.

Hydrangea.

The last of the green peppers -spot the fly!

  5. I always love seeing photos showing rain drops. :)

    Figs were something my oldest brother always liked, and our mom would make him fig preserves also.

  7. Figs are one of my favourite fruits. I have fond memories of a fig tree that grew just down the road from my grandma's home and the delicious fig jam she would make from it. Later, a girlfriend shared her recipe of dried fig jam, which is just as delicious.

    1. We have two trees, both produce many figs. We eat as much as we can fresh, but I have several bags dried which are also good. Not forgetting the jam and the chutney also. Cheers Diane
