08/04/2018 Now I am running two days late!!

Maximum temperature today 15C, minimum 9C.   1 mm of rain measured over the last two mornings; 21 km/h South Westerly winds with up to 56 km/h gusts. 
Total rainfall so far this year now 421 mm.

On Friday we had a club luncheon at Montemboeuf we parked near to the church.

Our friend Alan, cheers.  It was good to see him out and about, he has not been well after a bad fall from a ladder.

  2. These food outings always make me drool. I love duck and haven't eaten it in forever. Not easy to find here. Don't feel bad about being a few days behind, I'm months behind.

    1. These luncheons are alway good. Generally 6 courses and wine, all in for anything between €12 and €20 each About US$15 to US$24. In the Uk you would not even get the wine for that let alone the meal as well. Take care and have a good week Diane

  7. The prawns in the basket and the duck meat both look yummy! Very impressive church building, pretty plum blossoms and gorgeous sunset! Have a happy weekend!

  9. That looks a delicious luncheon for a club dinner. Doctors say we shouldn't climb ladders after 55 years of age because we loose our sense of balance. Bill had a friend who died after being in a wheel chair for a few years after falling from the roof.
