I have updated my bird blog HERE.
A Bee on the Broccoli! Now that sounds like the title of a song, or a piece of doggerel. Or even alliteration - A Beautiful Bumble Bee on the Beat-up Broccoli, perhaps. I am sure you can do better, Diane! I bet your composition will be the subject of your next post.
ReplyDeleteI am useless at poetry, tried but my best was useless!! Have a good week Diane
DeleteI like seeing bees on flowers.
ReplyDeleteMe to, it is good to see them back. Have a great week Diane
DeleteYou are having some beautiful color now, Diane! Daisy's are my favorite flower!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
xoxo
Thanks Sally hope that all is well with you. Diane xx
Delete17C and dry sounds excellent Diane, especially if working in the garden. so good to see the bees in the garden. I spend a bit of time rescuing them from our pool in summer 😊 attracted by the water.
ReplyDeleteGrace the weather is amazing, but February is our coldest month of the year so what has happened? It will be back to bite us I am sure! Keep well Diame
DeleteAlways I love all yours pictures but this with the bee was amazing and beautiful!! xo
ReplyDeleteSo good to see them but they are as confused by the weather as we are!! Take care Diane
DeleteI will have the first broccoli in Sugust.
ReplyDeleteThis is winter broccoli, if I plant for summer ours would also be in August. Take care Diane
DeleteSpring is coming our way now. Spring is usually something I look forward to after a cold winter but we have not had a winter so spring seems like a coming surprise! Like, how are you getting here without winter...haha. Sounds funny I know. I will say though that if spring brings rain Tennessee will be in trouble. We have more coming this week and on the look out for flash flooding. Ground is so soaked that the rain will have no where to go. Crazy weather.
ReplyDeletePam the weather is nuts we usually have snow in February, instead the insects are out, and even a lizard today was seen. I am sure the weather will suddenly change and we will all get a huge shock when the freeze returns!
DeleteHope you are managing OK and keeping well Diane.
The flowers in your garden are blooming and the bees are getting busy. I like the picture with the rising moon.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nancy the weather is well out of character and hard to understand. The birds, reptiles and insects are also very confused it seems. Hope all is well Diane
DeleteHi Diane,
ReplyDeleteThere is definitely a feel of spring in your pictures and your garden...
A bit early though, I fear frost later at the wrong time!
I hope you are both well
Warm hugs!
Carine I think this odd weather is is going to be a problem, today I saw bees, a red admiral and a lizard. The birds are all chasing each other, they are going to lay eggs and then the cold will retuen with a vengance. I hope they will all have time to have a second go! Take care, I am following your trips with much jealousy. Hugs Diane
DeleteWow, what stunning weather you have. Love those close-ups of the bees and what beautiful flowers.
ReplyDeleteIt is stunning weather but will, it last I do not think so. We are all going to be hit hard when the weather returnds to normal!! Cheers Diane
DeleteSure is nice to see bugs and blooms. Suppose to get 3-7 inches of snow tonight.
ReplyDeleteThe weather is topsy turvy, Michael and Mary even had snow in Mesquite last night!! Keep warm, Diane
DeleteBeautiful bee captures, especially the first one. It seems like it's quite warm where you are compared to where I am. Winter came very late to Vancouver and we are having intermittent snow. I hope you are rested and recovered from a cold.
ReplyDeleteIt is warm and it is very unusual, the insects and animals are as confused as we are. February is our coldest month of the year generally and we can expect snow. I did not have a cold Penny will drop you a line to fill you in. Take care Diane
DeleteI am delighted to see your first bee too, and all those beautiful flowers! Enjoyed the moon shots also. Thanks Diane, have a very enjoyable day :)
ReplyDeleteGreat photos!!!
