05/10/2017 Hedge cutting day.

Maximum temperature 21C,  minimum 9C.  9 km/h NW wind with 22 km/h gusts. Dry :-)
Rose Day 5.

02/09/2016 Busy day!

Maximum temperature 31C, minimum 15C.  16 km/h NW wind. Very Dry.
Hedge cutting..

As above...

Certainly looks much better, but look at our brown grass - we need rain!!

As above, letting the sun shine in!

Just down the road maize cut...

and opposite maize ready for reaping...
  
and an hour later driving home it is being cut.

Yet just down the road this is still being watered!

08/04/2016 The return of the Green lizard and various photos at home and out walking.

Maximum temperature 12C, minimum 0C.   29 km/h NW winds.  4mm rain measured this morning.
Green Lizard.  Lacerta viridis.

Black bird, I think immature.

Greenfinch female.

House centipede.  Scutigera coleoptrata.  The good guys as they eat insects and spiders!

A trip to the optician.  Nigel's cycling glasses have a cracked lens!
