Now planted, parsnips, coriander, spring onions, red chives, one row of carrots - more compost required to plant the remainder.  Seedlings in the greenhouse for peppers, leeks and courgettes.

30/08/2016 Not a good day for photos, not much life in the garden today.

The bees are still at the pumpkin flowers.

Wild Cuckoo Pint seeds from the Arum family.  These attractive red to orange berries are extremely poisonous.

I think these are the same family as dandelions but the flower is very much smaller.

The first bucket of hazel nuts to be collected this year 1.7 kg. Still more on the tree.

23/02/2014 Sunshine at last and did lots of work in the garden.

Maximum temperature 13C and sunny.  Over 30C in the greenhouse.  No rain.

27/11/2013 Had the oil tank filled today to make sure the house is kept warm while we are absent.
