25/04/2015 A few photos from home and a couple of shots from when we were away last week.
Maximum temperature 14C, Minimum 0C. 32 km/h NW wind. Ice on the bird bath this morning!
As above, but the buds and early opening flowers are much pinker,
(Anas bahamensis), not native to France but it is popular in wildfowl collections, escapees are frequently seen in a semi-wild condition in Europe. Seen swimming in the moat at Sauveterre de Rouergue.
What I believe to be a Wood Duck (Aix sponsa) also seen swimming in the moat. Also known as a Carolina duck.
