14/10/2017 The carry over of photos from yesterday.....

Maximum temperature 25C,  minimum 11C.  4km/h SE wind with 12 km/h gusts. Dry.
It is going to be even warmer over the next two days if the forecast is correct :-)
Driving past La Rochefoucald you can see the chateau on the skyline.

One of the streets in Roussines.

L' église Saint-Sulpice de Roussines

The church as above.  Sadly it was closed so I could not go in.
It had some great stained glass windows but it was not possible to take photos from the outside.

We were fascinated by the finials on the roof apexes of some of the houses...

See above...

as above.

La Lanterne restaurant...

Tomato, mozzarella, balsamic and pesto starter - very tasty...

Fish and chips on Friday...

Rose wine. I forgot a photo of the aperitif; pineau rouge...

Tarte au citron for dessert.
We plan to meet friends there next Sunday to try out the à la carte menu.

Last but not least, the nurse arrived to give us our flu vaccines this morning.

31/10/2015 Flu vaccinations this morning but forgot the camera! A walk around the garden.

Maximum temperature 22 minimum 9C. 55 km/h SE wind gusts. Dry.
No pink skies this morning but the moon was still saying 'Good Morning'.

Sparrow on the rosemary....

and having a drink.

This was still around and is still an unknown to me.

Warm enough for a young lizard to pop its head out.

Blue skies and vapour trails.

The clover seems to survive whatever the weather!

Still an odd rose bud.

Today's produce from the garden.  Chard, topinambour and quince.

Viburnum opulus in autumn dress.

Our neighbours leeks and lettuce.
